nació y se crió en una familia fusionada de inmigrantes españoles y cubanos en La Habana, Cuba. Desde muy temprana edad mostró su interés por la música y la danza, convirtiéndose en el centro de todas las actividades culturales escolares y de su comunidad; pero fue a los 12 años que comenzó sus estudios musicales con la soprano, Gladys Puig, quien la formo como toda la vedette que es hoy. Aprendio solfeo de canto, locucion, actuación y danza lo que la llevo a expander su creatividad al teatro musical y querer experimentar otros mundos y actualmente reside en Houston, Texas.
Ella es una artista emocionante y vibrante que demuestra una maestría y talento en la Opera una de las gamas vocales técnicamente mas exigentes para cualquier cantante. Sin embargo, más allá de la ópera, ella tiene una voz altamente entrenada que se adapta fácilmente para realizar cualquier género de música incluyendo música Latína, y otros estilos. Ella mantiene su profesionalidad en el corazón con un amplio cuidado y atención al detalle que cada género de música merece.
Se graduó de Suma Cum Laude en música de Texas Southern University. También ha sido parte del programa de educación extendida en el Houston Community College Musical Theater en donde estudio composición con el jazzista Joe LoCascio.
Niho ha sido galardonada por su trabajo único y actuaciones sobresalientes. Algunos de los premios incluyen el premio "Woman of the Year" en los premios musicales de 2011 patrocinados por "Success Magazine" y Citgo. También ha sido la receptora de la medalla "Top Success" presentada por Telemicro Canal 5 y "Opción de los 12" en la República Dominicana en 2010. Ha viajado y actuado en varios países de todo el mundo, desde los carnavales Panameños hasta el gran Teatro de la Ciudad Prohibida de Beijing.
También es productora de música y teatro. Niho ha escrito y producido varios musicales incluyendo " Habana", "Las Lenguas del Amor", "Recordando Broadway" , "Amame Como Soy" y " Regreso a Tropicana" entre otras piezas de teatro.
Niho continúa creciendo y deleitando a sus audiencias manteniéndose activa en la escena musical, actuando en algunos de los teatros, clubes y festivales más aclamados dentro del área de Houston y comunidades circundantes.Ella es una artista completa que también demuestra otros talentos como productora musical, de teatro, coreógrafa y compositora.
Ha compuesto y realizado dos grandes discos, '' D 'Rosas ...? " su primera producción de su autorías, donde demuestra su genero fusión Cubana Flamenca en el 2008. Pero es hasta su última producción discográfica," "A Mi Aire "2017, que la compositor logra poner todas las piezas de su esencia juntas en este trabajo donde el pianista y arreglista Raul Blanco colabora realizando los arreglos. Este nuevo disco representa su verdadero color y sentir , los cuales se mantienen en los sucesivos singles , como la "Navidad Marchosa" y "Suave Corazon" coming up in 2020

was born and raised in a fused family of Spanish and Cuban immigrants in Havana, Cuba. From an early age, his interest in music and dance, becoming the center of all school and community cultural activities; but it was at age 12 that he began her musical studies with the soprano, "Gladys Puig", who formed her like all the vedette she is today. She learned singing, locution, acting dance and music, which led her to expand her creativity to musical theater and want to experience other worlds and currently reside in Houston, Texas.
Niho, is an exciting and vibrant artist who demonstrates a mastery and talent in the Opera one of the most technically demanding vocal ranges for any singer. However, beyond opera, she has a highly trained voice that easily adapts to perform any genre of music including Latin music, and other styles. She maintains her professionalism in the heart with ample care and attention to detail that each genre of music deserves. She graduated from Sum Cum Laude in music from Texas Southern University. She has also been part of the extended education program at the Houston Community College Musical Theater where he studied composition with Jazzist "Joe LoCascio"
Niho has been awarded for her unique work and outstanding performances. Some of the awards include the "Woman of the Year" award in the 2011 music awards sponsored by "Success Magazine" and Citgo. She has also been the recipient of the "Top Success" medal presented by Telemicro Canal 5 and "Option of the 12" in the Dominican Republic in 2010. She has traveled and performed in several countries around the world, from Panamanian carnivals to the great Beijing Forbidden City Theater.
She is also a music and theater producer. Niho has written and produced several musicals including "Habana", "Las Lenguas del Amor", "Remembering Broadway", "Love Me As I Am" and "Back to Tropicana" among other theater pieces.
Niho continues to grow and delight her audiences by staying active in the music scene, performing in some of the most acclaimed theaters, clubs and festivals within the Houston area and surrounding communities. She is a complete artist who also demonstrates other talents as a music producer, of theater, choreographer and composer. She has composed and made two great albums, '' D 'Rosas ...? "his first production of her authorship, where she demonstrates her genre Cuban fusion Flamenco in 2008. But it is until her last record production," "A Mi Aire" 2017, that the composer manages to put all the pieces of her essence together in this work where the pianist and arranger Raul Blanco collaborates making the arrangements.
